Membership
Membership in the MATC Alumni Association is open not only to graduates but also to anyone who has taken a class, workshop, or other offering through MATC. The membership fee is $25 per year and lifetime membership is a real bargain at $100. MATC alumni enjoy many benefits, some of which are listed below. Members of the Alumni Association also receive MATCProfiles (the alumni newsletter) and invitations to alumni events.
Alumni Benefits
- A 20% discount on membership fees at the MATC Fitness Center, which has Truax and Downtown locations.
- Career planning and placement services from the Advising and Career Resources Center and access to TechConnect job listings.
- Use of the libraries, including borrowing books, and use of computer labs for academic purposes.
- Access to low-cost MATC services such as the Barber/Cosmetology salons (a new west side location opened in fall 2005!), Dental Clinic, Massage Clinic, and Optical Dispensary.
- And of course, continuing to enjoy MATC performing arts events, WolfPack sports events, and the gourmet dining room! Most sports events are free; alumni receive a $1 discount on basketball tickets. The Mitby Theater offers a discount to alumni for selected events; call (608) 243-4334 for information.
