Meet Adam, Industrial Maintenance Graduate

At first I wanted to become an electrician but found out about many different areas such as plumbing, heating and air conditioning. I have so many choices.

I can work on a team at a large company, at a small business or an apartment building. I can specialize in one area or do a variety of things. One thing I know—there are always plenty of jobs in this field.

I like the mix of students in my classes. Many older students have maintenance experience and share their knowledge, and younger students have more experience with computers. We help each other out a lot.

The teachers give everyone a fair shot. If we don’t get it right the first time, we do it over until we get it right. I’m lucky I’ve had instructors, as well as my dad, encouraging me to do my best. I know I’ve made the right decision.
