Covers career information for dental assisting professionals. It links to
continuing education and employment opportunities, dental professional organization
web pages and information about related legislation. It also provides access
to the latest issue of the journal, The Dental Assistant.

A highly recognized website that provides reliable, easy-to-access health care
information for consumers and professionals alike. It covers information across
the health care spectrum, including dental health topics.
National Oral Health
Information Clearinghouse
http://www.nohic.nidcr.nih.gov/
This website is a service of the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial
Research. It focuses on the oral health concerns of special care patients, including
people with medical conditions that compromise oral health. It is a bibliographic
database, which means that it contains references or citations to materials,
but it does not contain the articles themselves.

Allows browsing by topic and provides access to publications of the Center’s

Reference Center - Academic
A full-text database that covers professional and consumer health and medicine
topics.
MEDLINEPlus
Provides access to the MEDLINE index from the National Institutes of Health
plus links to Internet resources containing information that will help research
health topics.
PubMed
A service of the National Library of Medicine that provides access to over 12
million MEDLINE
citations back to the mid-1960's and to additional life science journals. PubMed
includes links to many sites providing full text articles and other related
resources.
Proquest
Nursing Journals
A full-text database that covers a wide range of topics including nursing, allied
health, alternative therapies, biomedicine, consumer health, and health administration.
