Each of our MATC Libraries includes a computer lab for student use. Get help with your computer or research questions from our helpful library staff.

- Computer workstations have course-related software and Microsoft Office 2007 software. Check with your campus librarian to learn which programs are available at your campus library. To check availability of software and hardware throughout the college and locations of computer labs, call the Technology Services helpdesk (608) 246-6666.
- There is wireless network access throughout the libraries and throughout the campus. The wireless system is being upgraded at all campuses.
The Truax Library includes the largest open computer lab on campus, with a variety of technologies available for student use during library open hours:
- 88 PCs, 7 Macintoshs (6 iMacs, 1 Notebook), 3 laser printers.
- 2 scanners for school-related projects.
- Students using laptops will find recent improvements in wireless access, seating options, additional electrical outlets, and workstations with network cables.
- Get help with your computer or research questions from our helpful library staff at the Student Computer Help Desk and Library Reference Desk.

- Checkout a variety of items to use in the computer lab from the Library Circulation/Reserves desk including headphones, usb drives, camera card readers, external zip drives, and external floppy drives.

Group Study Rooms and a variety of multimedia equipment are also available for use in the library.Check at the Truax Library Circulation/Reserves desk.
The MATC Libraries - Student Computer Help Desk is located in the Truax campus library, Rm. 230, along with the main campus computer lab. Student computer lab assistants are available to help you in person, by phone or by email with your technology and computer related questions during library open hours.
