Smart Information for the Real World
The six MATC Libraries are located at Truax, the Downtown Center, Fort Atkinson, Portage, Reedsburg and Watertown. All libraries are staffed with librarians and student help to provide services and reference assistance you need for academic success. MATC Libraries offers users traditional on-site services, but also provides 24/7 access to many resources and services online through our comprehensive library web page.

You can check out a NetBook, DVD player, a laptop, webcam and more to use in the library for general use or a class project beginning this Fall.

Our librarians can assist with research help, Blackboard questions, computer problems and many other services to help you be a successful learner. Last year we answered 66,330 of these questions.
If you search our catalog you can find almost 75,000 titles that include books, video, DVD, electronic books, reserves, newspapers, magazines and more. If you search our databases you will access millions of articles.
In Fall 2009, the Truax Library will provide students with multimedia support.
Over 52,000 students enter our libraries each month. It's the place to be! Throughout the year we provide treats and coffee for our students.
The Truax Library has a designated Quiet Area for when you need silence and Group Study rooms for when you need to work together.
Our Truax, Fort Atkinson & Portage libraries offer one-stop shopping for learners. Academic instruction and special services in the form of Basic Skills Education are offered by Learning Center staff and tutors.
