Congratulations to our team, which scored seventeenth in the midwest for the second round and finished thirteenth in the midwest region based on both rounds.

The second round of the Student Math League competitions (2003-2004) sponsored by the American Mathematical Association of Two Year Colleges (AMATYC) was held on Tuesday, February 24, 2004 at 7:30 AM. Sixteen students took the exam. The top five scorers in round 2 were:

The MATC math team of of Philip Tucker, Lulije Selemi, Kim Krueger, Julio Vorotnikova and Nathan Stark ranked 17th in the Mid-West Region after the final round on February 24. Congratulations! A total of 142 teams participated nationwide. We salute these students and their math instructors. We were ranked 16th in the mid-west, after all rounds.

Our team consisting of Jason Stitt, Justin Flickinger, Bronson Duhr, Deval Parikh and Andrew Kowalski was ranked 13 in the midwest region and Jason Stitt tied for the 10 th place in the midwest region. Congratulations to these students, their instructors and parents.
The second round will be on Friday, January 25, 8:30-9:30 in Room 337A. Round 3 will be held from March 22 - April 5.
