Student Visa questions:

Details on how to apply for a student visa are available at Student Visa Information. Please see the yellow box at the right of the screen for information on applying for the visa at a U.S. Embassy abroad versus changing visa status from within the U.S.

Note: The first step in applying for a student visa is to be admitted to Madison College. Please submit a complete international admission application packet 3-4 months before the desired semester start date to allow sufficient time to apply for and receive a student visa.

Phone consultation or in-person appointments on visa-related questions may be permitted, but only after review of the initial inquiry submitted to the email address above.

Appointment Requests:

• In-person appointments and walk-in inquiries regarding the international admission process will be scheduled with trained CIE Assistants. Appointments with the International Student Specialist are generally permitted for visa inquiries only.
• Appointments with CIE Assistants are scheduled at Madison College Truax Campus, room 206.
• CIE Assistants are available Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm
• Please come prepared for your appointment by first carefully reviewing the information provided on our website.
