Library Instruction / Information Literacy Arrange to bring your students to the library for a face-to-face meeting and some research instruction.

HOWLER and Learning Objects Check out these online learning tutorials created by MATC Librarians, and links to other sources that have proved useful for our students.

Research Guides Research assistance, subject guides, and useful resources compiled by your MATC librarians. These resources have been reviewed and selected for usefulness and reliability in helping our students. They are broken down by MATC program or subject areas, and include some general topic areas such as citation help, jobs, and evaluating information.

Subject Librarians: Get to know your subject librarian and encourage your students to do likewise. Make an appointment to discuss your class research assignments or ask for library handouts to pass out in class. Subject librarians are listed in the Library Research Guides.

Computer Resources for Students  The MATC Libraries includes the Student Computer Help Desk, so refer your students to these technology resources.

Resources: We welcome your suggestions and materials recommendations for your MATC Libraries.

RefWorks Format bibliographies, footnotes or endnotes. Import citations from many online databases. Store, organize & share your research. Create your own individual account to get started. Consult your MATC librarian for more information and assistance or click here for refworks tutorials.
