OWA for Mac User
Entourage 2008 Training for On-Campus Macintosh Users
As part of the GroupWise to Exchange migration, the supported Macintosh client will be Entourage 2008. We are asking users who have both a PC and a Macintosh to use the PC for accessing email as the Outlook 2007 client has, at this time, more functionality than the Entourage 2008 client.
If you are a user with ONLY a Macintosh workstation, please take a moment to verify your machine is ready for the migration. The following is taken from the Outlook FAQ sent out in a special bulletin from Roger Price.
I am a Macintosh user. What application will Macs have for accessing email?
On campus, Macintosh users will be using Entourage 2008 to access their email. Please check your applications folder for Microsoft Office 2008. If this is not installed, contact the Help Desk to request an appointment for installation. External access will be available via Outlook Web Access Light.
We are also providing opportunities for instructor-led training. The following dates and times are available. Please email Paula Hollenbeck phollenbeck[at] matcmadison [dot] edu to register for your training session. Classes can hold up to 20 persons. Registrations will be taken on a first-come first-served basis.
