Outstanding Employee/Team Awards

Dear Colleague,

Madison Area Technical College’s richest resources are our faculty and staff.  All of us share the goal of providing excellent educational opportunities for our students and quality service and support to each other.  Some contributions are remarkable and have made our college stronger and a better place to work.  We all know individuals who inspire us:  those who are enthusiastic in what they do and waste neither the time nor the opportunity to accomplish astonishing things.  We all work with teams who make incredible things occur or work to solve problems and make Madison College a richer place for our learners.  Now is your chance to help us recognize those individuals and teams. 

The Recognition and Awards Committee wants your assistance!   We want to recognize those individuals who inspire us, but we cannot do it without your input, support, and participation. 

The Recognition and Awards Committee has determined that we want to recognize the work of more than one team a year.  There are many types of work groups, teams, or committees, and they perform many different functions.  Look around you, and not at only those groups you interact with on a daily basis.  Has a committee made your life better by their actions and work performed?  Have they made the students lives better, or their experience here richer? 

The nomination form is based on the institutional values designed to help Madison Area Technical College “become a learning college whose administrative actions and employee behaviors demonstrate institutional values of excellence, respect, and integrity.”  On the following pages are the criteria we will be using to select recipients of the Outstanding Employee or Team Award.
