    The Learner Success Technology Systems Integration Council is comprised of faculty, staff and administration from Learner Success and Infrastructure Services. The primary purpose of this council is to foster direct two-way communication between instructional and technology leadership to ensure that ongoing alignment between Learner Success and technology is in accordance with the vision, mission, values, and learning college principles and strategic plan of Madison Area Technical College.

     

    The scope of work for the council includes, but is not limited to, the following:

    • Gather input from the faculty and staff to support the decision-making processes related to the adoption and deployment of technologies
    • Promote clear communication regarding technology issues to all faculty and staff
    • Monitor applications of technology as well as business policies and procedures that support the technology applications
    • Provide a mechanism for faculty who want to innovate or improve instructional technologies
    • Identify new technologies for instructional application that merit investigation and research
    • Engage in ongoing discussion to ensure an effective technology-aided teaching and learning environment
    • Assist in the development or review of technology-related policies that impact Learner Success
    • Recommend policy, strategies, plans, resources, and priorities for new and current needs for instructional technology
    • Recommend actions to ensure students, faculty and staff are provided access to information services, training and support
    • Recommend allocation of college resources
    • Recommend policies, strategies, plans, processes, resources and priorities for new and current instructional needs for technology
    • Regularly assess and recommend updates to the Learner Success Flexible Learning Plan
