Q: Do I have to register for Tech Academy this year?
A: Yes! we ask that you please register for Tech Academy by going to the following URL and letting us know which sessions you would like to participate in at Tech Academy: Register here.
Q: Do I have to register for individual sessions?
A: Yes you do.
Q: Where will Tech Academy be taking place?
A: This years Tech Academy will be taking place at the Truax campus and online.
Q: Where should I park?
A: You are welcome to park in any nonreserved parking space at Truax. Safety Services will not ticket individuals who do not have Truax parking permits. Both student and employee lots are open for parking. View an updated construction map of Truax (PDF, 152 KB)
Q: I have a question regarding an individual session, who do I contact?
A: You may contact the session's facilitator directly, or you may contact Prahl[at] matcmadison [dot] edu (Belinda Prahl), anatachu[at] matcamadison [dot] edu (Alan Natachu) or bckraemer1[at] matcmadison [dot] edu (Brant Kraemer) by email.
Q: I have a special need or disability, who do I contact?

Q: Will lunches be provided?
A: No, this year lunch is on your own. But, we will have lunch-time fun in the Student Lounge which features exciting wellness and technology demonstrations!
Q: I forgot to pre-register, can I still attend Tech Academy?
A: Yes, you may register for Tech Academy on the day of the event; however, we ask that you please pre-register if at all possible.
Q: Is there a fee to attend Tech Academy?
A: No. Thanks to the generosity of the faculty, staff, and friends who present, we are able to provide this event free of charge.
Q: I am not an employee of Madison College, can I still attend Tech Academy?
A: While Tech Academy is generally intended for the employees of Madison Area Technical College, other individuals such as retired employees and friends of the college are welcome to attend Tech Academy 2011. All we ask is that guests please take a few moments to register. Guests may pre-register my contacting Brant Kraemer. Guests may also register in person on the day of the event.
