College Council
The purpose of College Council is to provide leadership to Madison Area Technical College through communication, sharing, planning, and decision making that focuses on the organization as a whole:
- Review and approve college administrative policies and procedures
- Provide input into issues presented
- Share experiences with external relationships
- Communicate decisions to units and to the college
- Develop, review and revise the college Strategic Plan
- Approve college budget parameters
- Responsible for leadership in Academic Quality Improvement Process (AQIP) activities and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) teams
- Monitor the Strategic Plan measures and other measures of college health; recommend strategies to address deficiencies
- Receive information through report outs and share with constituents, i.e., Strategic Plan progress, board monitoring reports, CQI team reports, Systems Integration Council reports, etc.
College Council meets on Tuesday's from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. in the Administration Building Board Room.
