    The purpose of College Council is to provide leadership to Madison Area Technical College through communication, sharing, planning, and decision making that focuses on the organization as a whole:

    • Review and approve college administrative policies and procedures 
    • Provide input into issues presented
    • Share experiences with external relationships 
    • Communicate decisions to units and to the college 
    • Develop, review and revise the college Strategic Plan
    • Approve college budget parameters
    • Responsible for leadership in Academic Quality Improvement Process (AQIP) activities and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) teams
    • Monitor the Strategic Plan measures and other measures of college health; recommend strategies to address deficiencies
    • Receive information through report outs and share with constituents, i.e., Strategic Plan progress, board monitoring reports, CQI team reports, Systems Integration Council reports, etc.

    College Council meets on Tuesday's from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. in the Administration Building Board Room.
