Initial Certification in the System

Most instructors are certified at the provisional level upon entering the system.

Instructors certified at the provisional level are ultimately working toward the standard certification within the WTCS which requires completion of seven education courses.

The initial provisional certification period is three years.

Subsequent periods renew after two years until all education course requirements are completed.
