Transportation
Madison Area Technical College is a commuter college. The Truax Campus is located near major highways and is easily reached from most parts of the district. Parking costs are modest. Madison Metro buses provide service to the Truax Campus and to the Capitol Square (one block from the Downtown Education Center at 211 North Carroll Street). Madison students taking at least one paid credit can use their OneCard for free rides on Madison Metro. Riders should check their local bus routes and schedules to determine if they will need to transfer at one of the four transfer points to get to the Capitol Square or Truax Campus. Check a Madison Metro map or call Madison Metro at (608) 266-4466 for routes and schedules.
