Health and Wellness
The Health Education Center
The Health Education Center provides programs and resources to enable students to make informed decisions and be self-directed regarding their own personal health and wellness. A number of public and private agencies are also available for students’ direct health care needs. These agencies include the Dean Care Clinics, Public Health Departments, UW Physicians Plus, and Concentra Medical Center. For nonlife-threatening emergencies, accidents, or incidents, these agencies may be contacted. All students are expected to be responsible for their own health care, insurance and to have a physician or clinic as their primary care provider. The Madison College District does not assume responsibility for any medical expenses.
Student Health Newsletter
Student Health 101 is an online newsletter that is offered monthly to Madison College students. In it you will find articles about dealing with roommates, managing your time and money, learning what professors really want, and much more. To review all past publications visit the Student Health 101 archives.
