Global Studies Seminar - June 3-15, 2012

Program Overview

Cultural and Educational Opportunity - Learn with International Students from Germany. During the Spring 2012 semester, Madison College will offer a 3 credit class called "Global Studies Seminar".  The focus of this class is the business and Marketing of Heritage, however, the content is very flexible and projects can be tailored to be of value to any Madison College student.  The course requires travel to Germany and Austria (June 3- 15) which includes participation in an international seminar held in Marburg, Germany. As  a part of the seminar, students will tour German businesses that are successfully preserving and marketing heritage and culture.

Students will also have an opportunity to visit various sites in Austria and Germany.  The itinerary for sightseeing will include destinations in Vienna, Salzburg, Munich and Marburg.

Students will earn Madison College 3 credits - Course #62785, Tues/Thurs 12:30 p.m - 1:45 p.m.
