The
H. Douglas Redsten Gymnasium was built in 1986 and the
first game was played on January 14, 1987. On August
25, 1996, the gym was dedicated in honor of former MATC
Athletic Director, Basketball Coach and Golf Coach, Doug
Redsten.
The
facility features three full-court basketball/volleyball
courts and bleacher seating for 1,200 spectators. The
WolfPack Basketball, Women’s Volleyball and Baseball
teams practice in the gym through the fall and winter.
The
gymnasium recently underwent a major face-lift as new,
energy efficient lights were installed, the floor was
repainted, the sound system was updated and new team
championship banners were hung. |
