The First-Year Experience at Madison College is designed to assist new students in making a smooth transition to college life. As part of your first year at Madison College, we offer several classes, events and activities that provide you with information, preparation and connections to the college. So make sure you know about these opportunities and access those that will best help you as you begin your college journey.

• Mandatory Assessment, Advising and Placement: Make sure you complete the COMPASS test in math, English and reading so that you will be successful in your entry-level classes
• New Student Orientation: Come to orientation for assistance in choosing and registering for your first semester classes and learn about important policies of Madison College
• Wolfpack Welcome: Come to Wolfpack Welcome the week before classes and get yourself ready for your first week at Madison College
