Financial Aid Enrollment Status
The Financial Aid award is based on the number of eligible credits a student is enrolled in on the Date of Record:
|
Financial Aid Status |
Required Eligible Credits |
|---|---|
| Full-time | 12 or more |
| Three-quarters-time | 9 - 11 |
| Half-time | 6 - 8 |
| Less than Half-time | 1 - 5 |
Decrease in Enrollment
Dropping a class after the Date of Record can affect a student’s financial aid in one or more of the following ways:
- Financial Aid Suspension due to not meeting the completion percentage required to meet the Standards of Progress.
- Repayment of all or a portion of the Pell Grant received by the student for the course(s) dropped. Adding a class to “replace” a dropped class, if done after the Date of Record, will not change the result of dropping a class for which the student received a Pell Grant.
- Dropped classes count toward the Maximum Time Frame limits of the Standards of Progress.
