Waste Recyling Information

Empty Chemical Containers

Non-toxic chemical containers:

• Empty by pouring or scooping chemicals, or,
• Empty by evaporating residue or by rinsing the container.

Toxic chemical containers:

• Read the label!!
• Triple-rinse the container.
• Contact EH&S for pick up.
• If you cannot empty the container, tag the container as hazardous waste and call EH&S for collection.

Contact the EH&S Office to coordinate pickup (x6291).
