For Employers
Advising and Career Resources provides assistance in securing part-time and full-time employment, both on and off campus. Many students attending college need part-time work in order to earn money to defray expenses. Assistance is offered to help students identify job opportunities and develop appropriate job application skills so they may be successful in finding a job.
Employers contact the college in their effort to obtain qualified employees. Advising and Career Resources works with faculty members to facilitate communication between employers and students. Notices of job opportunities received from employers are posted to TechConnect, a job posting system accessed through the Internet. Jobs are also distributed to appropriate program areas and emailed or mailed to graduates and alumni registered for job listing services. Graduates and alumni are encouraged to register with Advising and Career Resources so they will be notified of job openings relating to their chosen fields. The Graduate Employment Report, which includes salary ranges for graduates, is also available.
