Dental Hygiene Clinic

    Printer-friendly version

The Dental Hygiene Clinic, located on the fifth floor of the Downtown Education Center, is a teaching institution where dental hygiene students perform oral prophylaxis (cleaning) and other dental services such as x-rays, study models, topical fluoride treatments, sealants and oral hygiene instruction. These services are available to all students of the college and the community for a small fee. For information you can call (608) 258-2400.

The service cannot be construed as a complete dental and oral examination. The interpretation of x-rays and the diagnosis of dental defects are not the purpose of this clinic, but the information obtained by the dental hygiene student is available to the patient’s dentist upon request. A dentist makes the proper interpretation of any diagnostic material as required by state law.
