Our counselors and advisors can help you with a wide variety of concerns. Services they provide include:

Where can you get help finding a job?

Advising and Career Resources can help you in all aspects of your job search. Students can:

• Find resources for career planning and exploration.
• Get help designing an academic plan to meet your career goals.
• Receive assistance with your job search. 

Do you need help with a research paper?

Students who need help with research and their studies can turn to the MATC Libraries and the Learning Centers. located in the Truax, Fort Atkinson and Portage libraries. There you will find:

• Assistance from librarians on conducting research and locating reliable information.
• Borrowing privileges to thousands of books, magazines, videos, and other resources.
• 24/7 electronic access to thousands of e-books and millions of articles through the library databases.
• Support for student computer questions and problems.
• Academic instruction and special services in the form of Basic Skills Education, English as a Second Language (ESL) and more offered by the Learning Center faculty.

Can you join a club or student group?

Some of the best ways to meet other students and make connections that will help you succeed are to join a club or student group or participate in athletic activities. MATC offers:

• More than 40 student clubs, ranging from academic to social.
• Several student groups, including an honor society and student newspaper.
• Intercollegiate athletics in sports like basketball and baseball.
• Fitness centers at the Truax and Downtown campuses.
• Intramural sports.

Inside MATC is your link to student records, grades, registration and other information geared specifically for students. You can even pay your tuition online through the Inside MATC web site.
