Mr. Mahun,
How is it going? I have been a topo machine this winter. I mounted our Trimble 5700 GPS on the cab of a tractor to topo a lot of acres this winter. I was getting about 2500-3000 shots a day. I was checking into bench marks from the tractor cab and they were checking +/- 0.03' all day long so that was pretty cool. I attached some of the pictures of the GPS tractor. The new H.I. for the GPS was 9.90'.
Share these pictures with Rich if you get a chance. The farm kid from Stoughton had a blast doing the topos from the seat of a tractor. Sometimes I think I have the coolest job in the world.
Thanks, Matt Vike
