SURVEY TECHNICIAN

Participate on an archaeological project in Turkey. International round-trip airfare, and room and board (two-star hotel) at the project are provided by the project. Must be available for travel anytime in summer 2006 for a four-week project, dates TBA, but probably between July 16-August 16, 2006.

Requirements: Survey technician with at least one year experience as lead surveyor, familiar with Sokkia Set 5B Total Station, and setting out survey grids. Experience with ESRI ArcMap GIS software required, specifically data import/export routines and spatial data management.

Expected to collect, manage, and analyze handheld Garmin GPS data, Total Station data, and high resolution satellite imagery.
