Child and Family Center Fee Scale
Madison College Child and Family Center tuition rates are based on a sliding fee scale. This sliding fee scale uses family size and income to determine specific tuition rates.
At the Truax and Downtown Centers, children may be scheduled for mornings, full days (less than 5 days/week) or full time (5 days per week, 7:15-4:30). Both centers also offer before 4-K care (7:15-9:00) and after 4-K care (12:00-4:30). We require a minimum of two days per week.

Fee Policies
Fees will be charged weekly based on the child’s scheduled care plus any additional pre-approved hours used during the week and any late fees incurred. Fees are based on full semester or summer enrollment except when classes have a different start and end date. Billing statements are provided on a monthly basis, however parents have access to the Procare billing system so they may be able to view their child care balance at any time. Please contact the office for access to this information.
Payment due dates are communicated at the beginning of each semester.
For FALL 2012 Semester Payment Due Dates are as follows:
* September 4, 2012, for care from August 27 - September 28.
* October 1, 2012, for care from October 1 - November 2.
* November 5, 2012, for care from November 5 - November 30.
* December 3, 2012, for care from December 3 - December 21.
For SPRING 2013 Semester Payment Due Dates are as follows:
* January 22, 2013, for care from January 14 - February 1.
* February 4, 2013, for care from February 4 - March 1.
* March 4, 2013, for care from March 4 - 29.
* April 1, 2013, for care from April 1 - 26.
* May 1, 2013, for care from April 29 - May 17.
Fees will not be charged for dates when the Madison College campus is closed for services.
Opening and closing times for each semester and summer program will be set one week prior to the start of the session. Please plan in advance noting that some classes require labs or practicums that would conflict with the Center's hours.
A valid checking, savings and/or credit card account is necessary to enroll in our mandatory billing system. Cash payments will not be accepted. Unpaid fees may result in a late fee, a Madison College records hold, collection action, or dismissal of the child from the care program.
