    Career Pathways are education fairs designed for high school students, current Madison College students and anyone who is interested in going back to school for that second or third career. Each Career Pathways event highlights the hands-on, interactive learning made possible by Madison College’s small class sizes.

    Learn to be a Hero to Someone

    Madison College launches careers in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, Criminal Justice, Fire Protection, Emergency Medical Services and Homeland Security.  At Career Pathways prospective students try-on interactive, hands-on experiences in college classes and see real-life job skills in tactical demonstrations.

    Choose an arrival time. Class selection is first-come, first-served.  Students choose three of the seven classes offered.    Bring your own lunch as there is a snack break from 12:10-12:40 p.m.

    Arrival times:

    10:00 a.m. – 85 student limit
    10:30 a.m. – 85 student limit

    *Class capacity is 170 students.  We have two arrival times to reduce sign-in lines. Be prepared – 10 a.m. arrivals will wait 30 minutes or more for class to start.

    10:00-11:00 a.m.   Arrival and on-line sign-in
    11:00-11:40 a.m.   Class
    11:40 a.m.-12:10 p.m.   Class
    12:10-12:40 p.m.   Snack
    12:40-1:10 p.m.   Class
    1:15-1:45 p.m.   Tactical Demonstrations
    1:45-2:15 p.m.   Vehicle Display-parking lot
    2:00 p.m. and on  School bus loading and departure
