    The Career and Employment Center (CEC) has friendly staff available to facilitate the success of Madison College students and alumni. We can meet with you in individual appointments or group workshops. We also offer walk-in assistance when advisor's schedules allow. Contact us for more information!

    Career & Employment Services

    Students may find help with choosing a career or program and finding employment at CEC, including:
    • Assistance with choosing a career direction
    • Help with resume and cover letter writing
    • Job search strategies
    • Career books or computer and video/DVD resource material loans
    • Assistance using the online job posting system (TechConnect)
    • Offer ongoing, one-on-one career and employment services to students meeting the Federal Perkins definition of a Special Population Student via the Employment Success Program (E.S.P.)
    • Other services such as: employer visits, annual job fair, and career and employment workshops

    Frequently-Used Online Resources

    TechConnectFind on-campus student job postings and other off campus general listings under non-program jobs. Or, if you're within six months of graduating, enrolled in a professional development or similar class, or alumni, contact us for a username and password to look at job listings in your program area.     WisCareersOnline assistance for students choosing a career, learning about educational options, and finding employment. Contact us to schedule an orientation and receive a username and password.
