Our community and business stakeholders play an important role in our students’ future. The following is one of the five MATC District Board Ends statements that show the commitment we have to our community members and businesses throughout the state:

“MATC proactively provides support and resources to the enhancement of collaborative community efforts to the extent resources will allow.”

MATC offers many opportunities for the community and businesses, such as:

• The Business, Industry & Community Services Office works directly with business and community organizations to provide customized services such as training, skills assessment, and technical assistance

• The Business Procurement Assistance Center provides technical and marketing assistance to Wisconsin businesses interested in selling their products and services to the government

• An electronic job posting website - Wisconsin TechConnect that allows businesses to post job openings

• The Office of Diversity and Community Relations has specialized staff that reach out to ethnic minority communities

• MATC Continuing Education Office is committed to promoting and providing a variety of courses to build job skills and enhance quality of life

• The MATC Fitness Center is one of the finest junior college fitness facilities in the Midwest

• The Mitby Theater is a state-of-the-art contemporary proscenium theater that seats 986 people in a continental seating style

• The MATC Recreation offers many youth camps, clinics, leagues and tournaments.
