American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009

The General Services Administration will spend $5.55 Billion on over 250 construction projects in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and two U.S. territories. The projects will support the President's vision for a clean energy future, create jobs, and reinvest in our public buildings. This includes:
- $4.5 billion to transform federal facilities into exemplary high-performance green buildings,
- $750 million to renovate and construct new federal offices and courthouses, and
- $300 million to construct and renovate border stations
- $300 million for fuel-efficient vehicles
State of Wisconsin Recovery Website:

The signed stimulus package will deliver $3.5 billion to the state of Wisconsin.
Some of the programs include:
- Modernize infrastructure and create jobs with an extra $187.3 million for infrastructure in Wisconsin
- $529.1 million for roads and bridges alone
- $151 million for Wisconsin’s weatherization program
- $62.7 million for the State Energy Program
- $82 million to improve public transit
- Provide funding sufficient to modernize at least 138 schools in Wisconsin
