The new Blackboard Learn 9.1 was made availabe January 9th, 2012 for Spring 2012 courses.

Goals: Expand and increase offerings of online and hybrid courses. Facilitate increased course quality. Enhance student engagement. Improve and maintain the technology infrastructure that supports learning and teaching at Madison College.

Bottom line: a better learning experience for students whether you are taking an online course or your instructor is using Blackboard to supplement your face-to-face course.

Students will still access Blackboard from a link on the college webpages. You'll use your same college username and password to log in. The interface will look a little bit different, but if you have used Blackboard before, many of the features will be familiar. You will be able to customize the system even more to fit your needs and preferences.

These Blackboard Help web pages have student resources for the new system so check them out for more information.
