Programs are designed to fit
the unique needs of each individual business customer. Industry training
liaisons work closely with employers to analyze company specific training
needs and recommend cost effective training solutions. Training can be
delivered onsite at an employer’s location or at any of the college’s
campus locations in Madison, Ft. Atkinson, Watertown, Portage and Reedsburg.
Training topics include leadership, manufacturing skills, technical and
computer skills, English as a Second Language, quality, health and adult
basic education and foreign languages.
MATC serves more than 300 clients ranging from large manufacturers to
nonprofit organizations and local and state government. The college trains
more than 12,000 employees each year through its customized training services.
The Business, Industry and Community Services Department is committed
to providing quality training services that meet the needs of district
employers and employees working and competing in a rapidly changing and
globally competitive climate.
