 Cynthia Peckenpaugh
As a barber/cosmetology instructor, I enjoy the opportunity to share with students my passion for the industry. Relating my years of salon experiences enables students to make an easier transition from the academic atmosphere to the salon environment.
Before coming to Madison Area Technical College, I taught theory and practical subjects required by the state of Wisconsin in barber/cosmetology at Milwaukee Area Technical College.
May 2004, marked the first of two Five-Year Certification teaching accomplishments. Cosmetology Educators of America, advanced barber/cosmetology education, business management and marketing classes have enabled me to further my career in teaching.
My goal as a full-time instructor at Madison Area Technical College is to be an excellent role model and mentor, setting an example for students to succeed in the industry.
My belief is to recognize all the special gifts we are given and share whatever talents we posses with others.
