    Assessment and Testing

    Madison College - South offers COMPASS, COMPASS ESL and testing for bilingual credit certificates.

     

    Bilingual Certificate Testing

    Language fluency in both English and Spanish is required for the credit bilingual certificates. Madison College-South offers testing for the bilingual certificates.  No appointment is necessary; however, we ask students to allow sufficient time for the completion of tests. If a student places into the certificates, a short orientation session is required. These sessions are offered every Tuesday from 5:30pm - 6:30 pm at the South campus. 

     

    COMPASS Testing

    COMPASS is the college's placement test and is required for accurate placement and registration into certain courses, particularly math and English classes. It measures reading, writing and math skills. Learn more about COMPASS here, where study guides are available for download.

     

    Schedule for COMPASS/COMPASS ESL at Madison College - South:

    Thursday - 1:00 PM

    Friday - 1:00 PM 

     

    **Please allow yourself sufficient time to complete testing.**
