WACTE Says Thank You!

The Local 27 Chapter of the Wisconsin Association for Career and Technical Education (WACTE) would like to send a slightly late but very heart-felt thank you to everyone who donated to breakfast and purchased lunch at the October 25 Convocation.
The proceeds from the event will go to support the many activities of WACTE including:
-Student scholarships
-Professional development opportunities
-Technical education awareness
-Support for pro-education legislation
Upcoming events include two opportunities to hear Paul Gabriel, executive director of Wisconsin Technical College District Boards Association, on current legislation that will affect education:

December 7, 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at Truax
WTCDBA: Looking Ahead” brown bag taco lunch
February 10 at Truax
Also, don’t miss the WACTE Legislative Seminar held downtown at DTEC, followed by visits to legislators at the State Capitol on February 21. Room numbers, exact times and other details will be announced in Madison College Matters soon.
