WACTE Meeting Postponed

What political conflict couldn’t do, Old Man Winter has done.
Given the approaching winter storm that will impact Wisconsin on Sunday and Monday, we have decided that it would be in the best interest of all concerned to postpone the WACTE Legislative Seminar that was scheduled for Tuesday, February 22. We have not made this decision lightly. In phone conversations with the National Weather Service in Chanhassen, MN and our own Wisconsin State Patrol, we have determined that there is a high probability that the roads around the state will not be in acceptable driving condition on Monday evening and Tuesday morning to support travel to the Seminar.
While we will attempt to notify all Seminar attendees of this postponement, please share this e-mail with anyone you know who was planning to attend the Seminar on Tuesday.
It is not possible at this point to determine the date to which the Seminar will be rescheduled. We will, hopefully, be able to alert you to the new date within a week. For those of you who have prepaid for the Seminar, we will wait until a new date has been set for the Seminar and you have determined whether or not that new date fits into your calendar before discussing refunds.
We are indeed sorry for this postponement It was our sincere hope that holding our Seminar on February 22 would have provided a beacon of hope and an opportunity for collaboration between the business, government, and education communities during these difficult political times. We will now strive to accomplish that goal on the new date selected for the Seminar.
Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. We will be back in contact with you shortly.
John Frank, President
Wisconsin Association
