Andy Czerkas, member of the college's Full-Time Teachers' Union, Local 243, has made the final vote for AFT's Everyday Heroes campaign.

Andy and his wife Jenny founded the River Food Pantry in Madison. For families living in poverty—or suddenly thrust there by job loss—places like the River Food Pantry are not merely helpful...they're a lifeline. Last year, the pantry served 21,000 families—a 65 percent increase over the previous year.

Andy is definitely a hero. So vote for him today!
