Unity Walk Raises $1,000

    Madison College students, staff and members of the Carpenter-Ridgeway neighborhood raised $1,000 for the Twin Towers Orphan Fund at the first annual Unity Walk on Sunday, September 11. The Town of Madison and Middleton Fire Departments attended the event, joining over 75 students and area community members who walked two miles through the beautiful Starkweather Creek bike path.

    The Volunteer Center would like to thank the following organizations who provided support to the Unity Walk:

    Donations to the Twin Towers Orphan Fund will be accepted through Friday, September 23. Donate $25 to receive a pin and t-shirt.
