Two Staffers Selected for PeopleSoft Product Advisory Group

peoplesoft logoCongratulations are in order for the Enrollment Center’s Stephanie Dean (Manager of Admissions/Records) and Lori McRoberts (Records Lead) who have been selected to join the Higher Education User Group’s (HEUG) Product Advisory Group for Oracle’s PeopleSoft. Stephanie and Lori were nominated and selected based on their stellar work for Madison College, especially their knowledge and understanding of Admissions and Records related to higher education.

Stephanie Dean was also selected to be the Assistant Track Chair (ATC), whose duties include solicitation and selection of admissions presentations and all associated publications and promotions within the PAG.

The Higher Education Users Group’s (HEUG) Product Advisory Group (PAG) was established to represent the higher education community allowing for communication between Oracle and HEUG constituents, with the goal of helping to improve both the functional and technical aspects of Oracle application software products used by institutions like Madison College. These groups are comprised of national and international experts from both schools and companies.

The PAG meets to discuss ways that Oracle’s PeopleSoft products could be improved to make them more effective and user-friendly. Oracle may then use these suggestions to improve software to ensure that this valuable tool works to optimum levels. The PAG holds annual meetings, which allow the group to discuss how updates are working and share potential areas of improvement. The group works together as a collective unit to compile the right information and feedback to present to Oracle.

We are extremely proud of both Stephanie and Lori, and we thank them for representing Madison College. They work tirelessly to improve our student administration system and we are grateful that they will be able to help create better systems and services for not only our college, but other institutions as well. The HEUG’s Product Advisory Group could not have chosen two more qualified and deserving people.
