Thanksgiving Food Drive Competition

My name is Eric Miller I am with the Volunteer Center as a Special Projects Coordinator. I was given the opportunity to take lead of the Thanksgiving Food Drive with the Goodman Community center this year.
This year we are having a friendly competition between clubs, students, faculty, and PSRP staff. Last year we raised 1,750 items of food. This year, our goal is for 2,500 items. We will only reach our goal if everyone participates and brings in at least two items of food. Goodman will gladly accept anything they receive.
You can bring in your bag that was donated by Hy-Vee grocery store to the Center for Student Life, Truax room 140 and the front desk staff will take it and count it for the group you belong to. Or you can place your bag in one of the barrels located around the Truax, Downtown, Commercial Ave and West campuses.
