Thanks for Help Gathering Student Feedback

    Student with check from scholarshipThank you all staff and faculty for encouraging your students to provide feedback for the College. For the 2010 administration, 1,384 degree credit students provided feedback!

    The top prize winners in the Give-Away drawing are:

    • Jeong Hyun An (Downtown Campus) - $800 Madison College Scholarship
    • Dawn Qualls (Online Student) - Apple IPod Touch
    • Cheyenne Kuehl-Thompson (Watertown) - $100 Madison College Bookstore Gift Certificate

    The 2009 study and previous studies contributed to the following improvements:

    • Added student OneCard equipment at the regional campuses to speed service to all students.
    • Created textbook rentals to lower textbook costs to students.
    • The Adult Learning Center opened this year to meet the needs of returning adults and dislocated workers.
    • The Career and Employment Center helps students prepare for employment.
    • Improved credit transfer opportunities for students, for example, Liberal Arts student can now transfer to UW-Madison’s Engineering Department.
    • Improved academic advising services ensure that students have the correct information needed before enrolling and throughout their college experience.
    • Increased on-line and hybrid offerings and accelerated learning opportunities.
