Teaching With Technology: Creating Reusable Learning Objects with Jing

In this session participants will learn how to download, install, and utilize Techsmith’s Jing in order to aid in the creation of a learning object.
Pedagogical and Technical considerations will be explored. Jing is a free tool that permits users to capture live video and still images from computers.
Teaching With Technology is an informal forum that meets once a month throughout the academic year. Each session covers some topic relating to the integration of technology in the teaching and learning processes.
Participants are also encouraged to use this forum as an opportunity to meet and talk with other individuals who use, or wish to use, technology for teaching and learning.
