Teaching With Technology: Blogs, Wikis, and Podcasts

In this session Dennis James from CETL will help participants learn how to utilize some very special plug-in tools in Blackboard including: Blogs, Wikis, and Podcasts. Dennis will also discuss with the group how to use these tools in order to help promote student engagement and effective instruction.
Teaching With Technology is an informal forum that meets once a month throughout the academic year. Each session covers some topic relating to the integration of technology in the teaching and learning processes.
Participants are also encouraged to use this forum as an opportunity to meet and talk with other individuals who use, or wish to use, technology for teaching and learning.
