Students Needed for Advisory Board

Recommend a Student for the Vice President’s Student Development Advisory Board.

Dr. Keith Cornille, Vice President for Student Development, is asking for your help to recommend a few outstanding students to take part in a unique college experience as a member of his student advisory board.

The Vice President’s Student Development Advisory Board will discuss issues and share feedback and advice on aspects of the student experience that are not part of the formal instructional program of the college. The student members of this board will be asked to recommend, encourage, and evaluate programs and policies that support student learning and student social environments, as well as advise Dr. Keith Cornille, on organization and priorities of programs.

The students on the board will also engage in training and participate, when necessary, in the Conduct Review Board and Academic Appeals Board hearings.

The outstanding students recommended must demonstrate leadership and a strong commitment to the college values of excellence, respect, and integrity, as well as demonstrate conduct consistent with the student responsibilities (code of conduct) of Madison College.

Keith would appreciate your consideration and recommendation of a student or students who you feel are outstanding and who might be interested in such an opportunity. He will then personally invite them to join the experience.

If you have a recommendation, please submit the student(s) name(s) and brief reason for your recommendation to vpstudentdev[at] madisoncollege [dot] org (Keith Cornille) via email. In order to get started in the spring, your recommendations are needed no later than Friday, December 17.

Thank you for helping us connect with our outstanding students!
