Student Speaks Out on Textbook Affordability

Madison College student Jacob Weigandt was one of three students selected from across the country to speak about textbook affordability, and Madison College was the only technical college featured in this nation-wide webinar.

Participants from many states across the country and some in Mexico viewed the webinar. Topics discussed included the impact of high textbook costs on students, options for lowering the cost (specifically open source textbooks), what was being done at our schools to work on this issue, and what others can do at their schools.
