Scouts Visit Cabinetmaking and Millwork Program

Scouts on CampusRecently the Cabinetmaking and Millwork program hosted 14 scouts from Oregon Boy Scout Troop 168.

These young men, ages 11-17, each produced their own camp chair. They had the opportunity to experience our state of the art lab, and learned about modern wood manufacturing methods.

The scouts personalized their chairs by using our CNC Machining Center to carve their names in the backrest. One scout said “I never thought a career could be this much fun!”

Congratulations to Patrick Molzahn and everyone in the Cabinetmaking and Millwork program!
