Road Construction Near Truax

Road construction can still be a headache near the Truax campus.

Tom Riffle tells us work to complete East Washington Avenue from Marquette Street to Melvin Court, and Highway 30 from McCormick Avenue to Fair Oaks Avenue is moving along. The work is scheduled to be completed in early June.

Right now on East Washington crews are doing landscaping and pavement marking. Lane closures can occur daily. Outbound East Washington can have up to two lanes closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Inbound East Washington can have single lanes closed from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and two lanes closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

HWY 30/Aberg Avenue – crews will begin pavement marking. Single lane 
closures can occur on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and on weekends
from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

No intersections will be closed. Bus stops will be maintained.
