Poetry Reading

    person writing poetry in journalPoets Kara Candito and Kyle McCord will be featured at a reading on Wednesday, November 2, at 2:30 p.m. at the Downtown Campus in Room D234. The event is sponsored by The Yahara Journal.

    Kara Candito is currently an Assistant Professor of Creative Writing at UW-Platteville, and is the author of "Taste of Cherry." She has also been published in various journals nationwide.

    Kyle McCord is the author of "Informal Invitations to a Traveler (co-written with Jeannie Hoag, formed of epistolary poems)" and "Galley of the Beloved in Torment." He too has been published in various journals throughout the country, and has worked for The Nation, as well as The Beloit Poetry Journal.
