Peace Corps and Africa Conference

On March 24-26, the UW-Madison African Studies Department in collaboration with the Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (RPCV) group of Wisconsin Madison, presents the Peace Corps and Africa Conference is a great opportunity for Madison College staff and students to learn more about Africa and international development.
This conference features presentations by RPCV writers, poets and film makers; former U.S. Ambassadors; Johnnie Carson, the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs; John Lange of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation’s Global Health Program; and more. The conference culminates in a public presentation featuring Aaron Williams, the Director of Peace Corps, followed by an African dance party.
